Job Responsibilities:
- Organize the activities of the department and provide overall leadership and management;
- Develop the financial and accounting policies in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements;
- Ensure the inventory of assets, liabilities, capital, and other accounts during reporting periods and accurately reflect the results in accounting records;
- Ensure accurate and continuous registration of insurance operations, income and expenses, and reinsurance transactions in accounting records;
- Accurately prepare and maintain financial, tax, and management accounting reports reflecting the company’s financial performance;
- Monitor budget execution and inform management of any deviations;
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal and external auditors in accordance with established procedures;
- Oversee the implementation of the annual budget and report to the Management Board on its execution;
- Supervise the implementation of measures aimed at strengthening financial discipline and optimizing expenses;
- Ensure the protection of the company’s commercial confidentiality and financial integrity;
- Ensure full compliance with the department’s regulations and internal policies;
- Perform other tasks assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Higher education (in Finance, Accounting, or Economics);
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience (experience in the insurance sector is an advantage);
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CFA, or DipIFR are considered an advantage;
- Proficiency in English, Russian and Turkish languages is an advantage;
- Good command of Microsoft Office, 1C 8.3, and Insure.Az software is preferable.
